What to Bring to Your First Appointment
Arriving prepared helps us make the most of your visit and ensures we have everything we need to provide the best possible care for your pet from day one.
- Any previous veterinary records, vaccination history, or medical documents from your prior clinic
- A list of any medications, supplements, or preventatives your pet is currently taking
- A stool sample if your pet is due for a fecal parasite screening
- Your pet on a non-retractable leash (dogs) or in a secure carrier (cats and small animals)
- Any questions or concerns you have been meaning to discuss — we want to hear them
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first appointment at Rockbrook Animal Clinic will include a comprehensive nose-to-tail physical examination. Our veterinarian will take the time to review your pet's health history, discuss any concerns you have raised, and make recommendations based on your pet's age, lifestyle, and individual needs. We do not rush our appointments. If vaccines, diagnostics, or other services are needed, we will discuss them with you clearly before proceeding.
We Look Forward to Meeting You and Your Pets
Starting a relationship with a new veterinary team is a big step, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our goal from your very first visit is to be the team you feel completely confident calling whenever your pet needs care — for routine visits, unexpected concerns, and everything in between. We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to the Rockbrook Animal Clinic.
